Collaboration: St. Lawrence University Wellness Committee

The Local Living Venture (LLV) coordinates workshops on "resourceful living skills" that help our constituents to live more healthfully, ecologically, and economically -- we would love for St. Lawrence University to to be even more a part of this adventure!

Our ties to St. Lawrence are strong.  In the recent past, we have enjoyed major financial support from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation’s Environmental Education Initiative For Active Learning, Research, and Advocacy Grant, administered by St. Lawrence University, in support of the Featured Speakers at three iterations (2010 - 2013) of the Local Living Festival that have been held at the Cooperative Extension Learning Farm in Canton.

Our many partnerships with students, interns, professors, programs, and departments at St. Lawrence have had a large impact in our development as a community-based non-profit organization.  We appreciate our engagement with St. Lawrence and aspire to further this symbiotic relationship.
