The Sustainable Living Project is engaging in a series of tourism-generating workshops in 2011.  We will advertise in major urban areas in the northeast and beyond, offering intensive weekend and week-long rural life experiences. Eventually there will be various homesteads and farms on board, with a list of skills and experiences at each for the eco-vacationer to choose from.  We will start slowly, with one farm this Spring and advance the project from there, to eventually include stays at our planned Homesteading College in the St. Lawrence River Valley as well.

In the meantime, we offer year-round rural skills workshops and hope to have a storefront operation in the next year to 18 months; we hope to become a "go-to" tourist destination.  Though it's true that many such workshops occur at the maple sugar bush or the apiary, etc. so there will also be plenty of outdoor activity.

The Local Living Festival of Seedcorn's Sustainable Living Project
were sponsored by these fine organizations and individuals in 2010.
We thank each for their graciousness.
